Some links are affiliate links

CitationDesk recommends third-party tools — for example, platforms for continuous AI-citation monitoring — when they genuinely help readers. Some of those outbound links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you click through and sign up, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links on this site carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and are disclosed on the page where they appear.

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) require any material financial connection between a publisher and the products it recommends to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously — that's the standard this page, and every per-page disclosure line, is built to meet, regardless of where a reader is browsing from.

Technically, the rel attribute does two separate jobs: sponsored tells search engines the link is a paid placement rather than an organic endorsement, and nofollow noopener stops it passing SEO authority and stops the new tab from reaching back into this page's window object. None of that changes what the link says to you as a reader — it only changes what it says to a crawler.

Every other tool link on this site is plain and untagged — we earn nothing when you click those. No affiliate relationship influenced any score, ranking, or comparison verdict.

It never changes what we publish

• Scores are never for sale. The AI Visibility Score is computed by the open rubric on our methodology page — the same server-side crawl, regex signals, and pass/fail thresholds run against every URL. No company can pay to change a score, a ranking, or a comparison verdict, because there is no manual step in the pipeline for anyone to influence.
• Recommendations come first. We recommend tools because they fit the reader's need, not because they pay a commission. Where a competitor is the better pick for a given use case, our comparison pages say so plainly, commission or no commission.
• No incentivized clicks. We never ask you to click links to "support the site", never frame a click as a favor, and never hide the fact that a link is a link.
• Free tools stay free. The free Citation Readiness Score and every generator tool run without any dependency on affiliate revenue — that revenue, if any, only ever funds keeping them free.
